scolastic education

i went to elementary and high school in salzburg and graduated from high school with university entrance qualifications in summer 2001.

afterwards i joined a two-year programme on hospitality & tourism management at salzburg's tourism school klessheim. the course was specialized on hotel- and f&b management and during this programme i also did an internship in japan for 3 months. in my graduation diploma thesis i made a market analysis for a traditional japanese style ryokan hotel in salzburg.

further education

next to school and work i have always tried to broaden my horizon by taking extra courses on various subjects such as languages or economics and marketing. before starting my studies at salzburg's university of applied sciences i also joined a marketing training programme of 2 semesters and completed the course with a marketing analysis & plan for my employer's project 'bgs' to obtain a marketing diploma.

later during my studies i deepened my language skills and my knowledge about webdesign and ecommerce. in addition i joined a teacher's training and went on summer schools about chinese economics, culture and language in summer 2007 and 2008.

in february 2010 i graduated in blended studies of economics, tourism management & (new media) marketing from fh salzburg university of applied sciences with an austrian master degree (magister). i wrote my master thesis about the use of online social networks in travel destination marketing. if you are interested, take a look at some further information about my thesis.
